Overview
OEO6500 OLP-BIDI is an optical line protection device specially for rare optical fiber resources. Traditional OLP device needs to occupy 4 fiber cores. As a result, optical line protection cannot be realized due to lack of optical fiber resources at many places. Besides that, the two-fiber-mode is with high cost, and is a waste of fiber resources. It is not easy for networking, and not convenient for operation. However, OLP-BIDI only needs 2 optical fibers to realize optical transmission and optical line protection functions. When fault occurs to the primary optical fiber, it will automatically switch to the secondary optical fiber at the receiver end, so as to ensure the non-blocking operation of communication,improve the stability and reliability of communication system, and meanwhile save fiber resources.

- It provides single fiber bidirectional protection mode;
- It supports the fast switch between the primary and the secondary optical lines, and the switching time is less than 15ms;
- It supports TFTP remote upgrading and graphical management interface, which is easy for maintenance and management;
- It supports a variety of management modes such as Console, network management system and button settings;
- It supports working modes such as manual switch, automatic switch and automatic return;
- It supports a data rate of 155M~2.5G or 10G. Fast LOS shutdown function can be realized;
- Simple and stable circuit design is adopted for the switch modules of the device, which is with high reliability. Moreover, the ARM and AVR modules are independent and without any affection from each other;
- It is with 1+1 redundant power (AC/DC optional), and with wide voltage range, which is safer and more stable.
