Roofing Membrane Breathable Membrane principle
Waterproof breathable membrane includs microporous membrane, hydrophilicity membrane and microporous hydrophilicity membrane. Microporous membrane is a very thin layer of polymer membrane, there are lots of microcellular on the surface, which diamteres less than 2μm, water drop diameter is about 100μm, water vapor diameter is about 0.0004μm. So it's available for waterproof and breathable.
Nelumbo breathable membrane is made by two layers of non-woven fabrics and one layer of microporous polymeric membrane in the middle. The three layers are thermally laminated without using any chemicals such as glues. Because of the excellent performance at water resistance and vapour permeability, Nelumbo breathable membrane allows potentially harmful moisture vapour to escape from within a building to the outside air, while remaining rain and water-resistant.
