   The valve is a type of energy-saving valves, generally installed at bottom of the bottom suction pipe of water pump to prevent the liquid in the pipe of water pump from flowing back to the water supply, functioning for only the inflow with no outflow. There are many water inlets and reinforcing bars on the bonnet to avoid the jamming of the watercourse and function as the support, mainly applied in pipeline for pumping water. Its diameter includes single-/double-/multi-disc types.Both flange connection and threaded connection are available.

Structure and principle

The valve consists of body, disc, bonnet, bushing, gasket ring, ect. See the following figure for details. The water from the water supply flows into the body through the bonnet and the disc opens to allow the water to flow in under the fluid pressure; when it stop, the pressure in the outlet pipe will drive the disc to close rapidly and the liquid will not flow back to the water supply so that it can both pump water smoothly and save the water energy drive the disc to close rapidly and the liquid will not flow back to the water smoothly and save the water energy.
