CorroCell 1000MC
CorroCell1000MC is metallic ceramic coatings. It provides life time corrosion protection and chemical resistance in thin films (20~30µm). When applied to exhaust systems, it will withstand environmental temperatures of up to 1200C. Due to its unique ceramic nature and the incorporation of specially designed thermal insulation fillers, the coatings have certain effects of thermal barrier property, reducing thermal radiation, minimizing thermal fatigue and oxidation for its surrounding parts and components. The thermal barrier effectiveness increases your exhaust flow to the turbo, decreasing turbo spool up time. After curing the coating requires “polishing” giving a very high featured metallic-ceramic and sparkling luster appearance.
Special Features of water-based, high quality appearance after polish, and hard labor work for polish required
- water-based, no VOC
- Strong pencil hardness (8H on metal substrates, hard like stainless steel)
- Strong adhesions (interfacial chemically bonded)
- High temperature tolerance (the coatings adhesion remains in excess 1000C).

- Effective corrosion resistance (5 % salt spray 30days no obvious rusty spots),
Applications
CorroCell1000MC is specially designed and developed for metal surface protection against wear and corrosion in high temperature and corrosive environment. The coatings are suitable for exhausts system in motor vehicle. The CorroCell 1000MC are also applied for high values equipments when fine ceramic-metallic luster appearance is preferred.
