1  Compositions and properties

  Polyurethane  Anti-corrosion Finish Coating is two –component package and contains hydroxyl resins, curing agents, pigments, fillers, thickeners, additives, solvents and so on. The coating film is tough and glossy with good conditions of wear resistance and weather resistance. In addition, Polyurethane  Anti-corrosion Finish Coating also has an excellent resistance to oil, solvent of benzene, water, seawater, acid, alkali, salt and chemical atmosphere.

2  Applications

   Polyurethane  Anti-corrosion Finish Coating is applicable not only to steel structure surfaces as anticorrosive paint, but also to wood and cement products, ship machine tools and electronic appliances as the proactive and decorative topcoat.

4  Scheme and attentions

1.Ratio: Group A : Group B=1:1 or 2:1 or 4:1.

2.Coating intervals: More than 12h and less than 48h under the temperature of 0°C ; more than 8h and less than 24h under the temperature of 15°C ;more than 4h and less than 16h if under the temperature of 25°C.

3.Thinner: The special thinner for Polyurethane paint.

4.Make sure the surface has be completely cleared out of rust and oil before painting. As to the steel structure surface you’d better blast it to level sa2.5 according to the “rusting and derusting grade standard before painting” or take the method of manual mechanical descaling to level st3.

5.The weld on the steel structure surface should be smooth with no welding tumor, blunt and burr.

6.The derusting steel structure surface should be brushed the primer in 24 hours to avoid secondary rust.

7.You should use the primer paint first when brushing the cement walls. Mix group A with group B, then add the fillers and stir it into high-build grout. Use this grout instead of putty to scrape the wall to be flat and grinding the wall smoothly with the sand paper after 24 hours, then you may brush the primer paint.

8.The best construction conditions:temperature:0-35°C;ralavtive humidity:≤85%.You’d better not to male the construction during days like rainy,foggy,snowy or dusty.

9,You can chose the method of brush, roll painting and spray during your construction. You should adjust the viscosity with the special thinners as different method requiring different viscosities. Attention, no water, alcohol, rubber or gasoline can be used as thinners.

10,Polyurethane topcoat belongs to “chemical reaction type”. It is two-component package, the group A is paint and the group B is curing agent, so you should mix the two groups according to the required weight ratio , stir it uniformly and curing it in accordance with regulation time before your construction. The cured paint should be used out within 4 -8 hours.

11,It’s best to wait 24 hours before you brush the second coat.

12,You should recover the lid of the package barrel tightly after your construction to avoid the rest paint suffer from the moisture, alcohol and water.

13,The paint film will be fully cured 7 days after the construction.

14,The construction tools should be cleaned clearly with xylene or the special thinner after using.

15,This paint belongs to dangerous products which should be stored in a cool ventilated area, away from the source of fire and heat, especially pay attention to fire. The construction site should be ventilated and has a reliable security measures to fight against to poisoning accidents and fire accidents.

16,It is forbidden to use the iron tools to hit the package barrels when you are trying to open it, it may cause a fire accident.
