HUIYUAN-PRIMER is a low viscocity, highly penetrative asphalt primer with special additives to improve the bonding of bituminous materials to the substrate.

FEATURES

HUIYUAN-PRIMER penetrates deep into the porous substrates and provides a firm base surface for bonding of the applied bituminous materials.

APPLICATIONS

Used as a prime coat on concrete masonry, cementitious screeds, metallic substrates etc.prior to application or installation of bituminous materials,built up roofing ,bituminous membranes etc.

COVERAGE

Coverage rate varies from 0.15 to 0.2 kg/m2 depending on method of application, surface properties and conditions of substrate.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation:

l         Concrete surface must be clean,sound and free from oil , grease, dirt, dust, and loose particles,It is desirable to dampen the surface the with water if the concrete or blockwork is very dry.

l         Metal surfaces must be wire brushed to remove loose rust ,mill scale etc.Wipe off oil and grease from the surface with a suitable solvent .

Method of application:

l        The primer should be well applied as a thin coat by brush ,roller or byspraying.

l        Allow to air dry until touch dry .

CLEANING OF TOOLS

l         Dip brush in clean water before and during use,for easy of application .during work break periods ,place them in water to prevent caking up of bristles.

l         Clean brushes and tools in soap and water immediately after use .

l         Dried emulsion can be removed with the help of white spirit, petrol,diesel oil etc

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

l         HUIYAN-PRIMER is non-hazardous in normal use.

l         When the product is wet ,it should be removed from skin by soap and water .but when dry ,suitable cleansers like petrol ,diesel, etc.should be usded .

l         Splashes to eyes should be wash immediately with abundant water.

l         Avoid contact by careful working and use barrier cream or gloves .

STORAGE

l         Store in sealed conventional containers ,protected from extreme weather conditions ,

l         Stir well before use,if stored for a long time .
