Description
Quick drying solvent based bitumen primer. It acts as a primer and sealer coal for masonry and concrete to improve the bonding of bituminous materials.
Uses
- Binder for dust particles to make prior coat for membrane application.
- Act as curing compound fresh cast concrete
- Anti corrosive and Waterproofing for all masonry products like pipes, precast walls, cable trench and etc..
- Anti diffusion from Chloride, sulphate ion ingress and carbon di oxide
- Improves the bond of bituminous materials.
- Cold applied, does not require heating, thinning and mixing.

Comply with standards
ASTM D 41 Asphalt primer for roofing, damp proofing and waterproofing BS 3416 Bitumen based coating for cold application, suitable for use in contact with potable water.
Method of Application
The surface must be clean and free of oil, grease and any other loosely adhering particles. The surface must be dry before priming with this the primer can be applied straight from the container with standard brushes, squeegees, roller or spray equipment. The primer should be allowed to dry naturally before the application of subsequent layers
Area of Coverage
4-6 m2/Liter/coat However the coverage will depend on the porosity of the substrate. In order to ascertain the exact coverage, it is suggested a trial application is carried out at site.

Specific Gravity: 0.85-0.90 at 25oC
Solid Content: 45-50%
Color: Black in Wet, Black in Dry
Drying time: Touch dry 1 hour, Full dry 3-4 Hours in normal atmospheric temp.
Solvent type: Petroleum solvent (Xylene)
Distillation of volume of primer %: Up to 225oC not less then 35%, Up to 360oC not more then 65% (ASTM D 402)
Water content: < 0.5 % (ASTM D5)
Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months in sealed original containers under recommended storage conditions

Storage
The drums should be stored under a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and protected from extreme temperature. The shelf life of the product is up to 12 months if stored as per the recommended. Failure to comply with the instruction may result in premature deterioration of the product.
Health & Safety
It contains volatile solvent with a low flash point (38 C0). It should be kept far away naked from flame and flame. Avoid inhalation of vapors and ensure there is adequate ventilation in the work place. Gloves, protective masks and goggles should be worn during application. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.
