Product Introduction
Laminated glass, two layers or more layers, is a kind of compound glass with one or multiple organic polymer interlayers inserted between each two glasses, and they are conglutinated permanently by way of specially-treated high-temperature pre-compacting (or vacuumizing) and HPHT processing.
The common interlayers used in laminated glasses include PVB, SGP, EVA, etc.
There are also special laminated glasses with colored interlayer, SGT-type printed interlayer, XIR-type LOW-E interlayer, as well as decorative and functional laminated glass inserted with metal mesh, metal plate, silk cloth and PET materials.
Classifying by functions, there are PVB insulated glasses for buildings, high-strength SGP laminated glass, bullet & explosion-proof glass, acoustical laminated glass, heat-isolation laminated glass, solar-control, anti-UV laminated glass, etc.
Characteristic of laminated glass
Safety: When the laminated glass is suffering from intense impact by external force, its interlayer is able to absorb large impacting energy and make the impact attenuate promptly and therefore the laminated glass is hard to be penetrated and can keep its integrity.
Natural disasters resistance: Fragments of the broken laminated glass are still attached to their original position after the glass broken and such stability makes it the perfect constructing materials for building located in hurricane- and earthquake-prone zones.
Bullet & explosion-proof: Multi-interlayer laminated glass can be produced to variety bullet & explosion-proof laminated glass which can be used in places where high security level have to be ensured in such buildings as banks and government architectures to resist bullets, bombs and violent attacks.
Noise-reduction: Acoustical laminated material is, to a certain level, able to resist sound wave and therefore it endows the laminated glass the ability to reduce the strength of the transmitting sound and make sound-reduction possible.
Anti-UV: The laminated glass displays a strong resistance to ultraviolet rays (as high as over 99%) and can therefore prevent valuable furniture, curtains, exhibits or other items being influenced by ultraviolet rays.
Advantage of processing: With hole sites automatically being carved by cutting machine, it is easy to realize accurate cutting and ensure perfect abutment joint of the multiple hole sites of the laminated glass.
