The shutters fiber optic adapters are designed to prevent ingress of dust and also to prevent accidental exposure to laser. SC Simplex Shutter Fiber Optic Adapter utilizes the conventional split ceramic sleeve method to align fibers and thus ensures the same precision and optical performance as the normal adapter. Such SC Fiber Optic Adapter with shutter is Blue, Green, Beige and Aqua color coded for easy identification of SM/PC, SM/APC, MM/PC and OM3.
