Although it is above 40 years old, this chair is still modern and certainly not wearing thin at the edges. Børge Mogensen’s chair from 1971 is an iconic ambassador of modern Danish furniture design, treading carefully and respectfully in the deep footsteps of the grand furniture master, Kaare Klint. A feat it accomplishes exceptionally well. There is little more to say about this Børge Mogensen chair except to add that, despite its relative youth, it could have been the blueprint for most pieces of furniture designed for one person. It is a classic that will never disappoint.
The body has an airy feel about it as it suspends over 4 architecturally square solid ash legs. Its comfortably proportioned size and lofty fitted cushions line the seat back and sides. A small percent of the world’s leather supply is of high enough quality for 100% Top Grain Aniline upholstered furniture. Aniline Dyeing is the process of soaking the hides in transparent aniline dyes which allows color to absorb into the natural hide. Top Grain Aniline leather is then topical stain protected to minimize liquid absorption during every day use but does not require imitation grain stamping methods which imprint a Faux grain over the majority of the leather surface. Without all the synthetic topical coatings, it breathes naturally making it comfortable for seating. It is soft, supple, durable and pliable, maintaining the characteristics of pure leather.

Our minimum order quantity would be a 20ft container, although in some instances we can arrange one-off sample piece and shipping cost is borne by the customer.
