The dipped polyester tire cord fabrics used in making radial tyres have the excellent characteristics of high strength, low elongation, high module and better dimensional stability, etc. Such tire cord fabrics consist of two types: the conventioanl type and the dimensional stability type.
Characteristics of the fabrics:
The dipped polyester tire cord fabrics of the conventional type are made from ordinary high strength polyester industrial filaments which have the characteristics of high stength, low elongation, high module and better dimensional stability.
The dipped polyester tire cord fabrics of the dimensional stability type are made from polyester HMLS industry filaments which have the characteristcis of high module, and low shrinkage etc.
