C-Frame Steel |
Frame work shall be made of appropriate sections as given below made of cold rolled mild steel of thickness 1.5mm minimum which shall be sandblasted and Epoxy powder coated. Framework shall be designed for safe loading of worktops of up to 200 kilogram per square meter and to keep service space between wall and under bench units. Frames shall be connected to each other by means of a front runner of at least 2mm thick size 60x40mm. Frame shall be of rectangular box with a wall thickness of 3mm and at least of following dimensions.
Vertical member of minimum 60x40mm Horizontal top member 60x40mm Horizontal bottom member 60x40mm Other frame sizes will be subject to approval.

General Requirements: laboratory environment. Cold Rolled Steel: at the mill to be free of scale, ragged edges, deep scratches or other injurious effects. Hinges: type with a fiveknuckle bullettype barrel. Welding of hinges to door or case will not be accepted. Doors under 36" in height shall be hung on one pair of hinges.
