With the original E-glass fibers, durability was a big issue since the fiber broke down and lost strength in concrete, then the alkali-resistant Glassfibre is developed and made resistant to the high alkali corrosion through the use of zirconium-dioxide.

AR fiberglass chopped strand is designed to use in dry mix systems or other premixing processes GRC(Glassiber reinforced concret).Such as drainage channels, cable troughs, meter boxes, wall cladding panels or in architectural applications such as decorative screen walling, etc.

Application:
The 'Premix' production technique involves pouring or pumping a cement/fibre mix into a mould, similar to other precast production processes. The mix is compacted using vibration or by adding other components. The unit is left in mould to set and demoulded the following day.Pre-mix has the advantages that moulds can be simper to produce and strip.

Storage:
AR fiberglass chopped strand should be stored dry in their original package, the best conditions being at a temperature of between 15 and 35, and at a relative humidity of between 35 and 65%. If the product is stored at low temperature (below 15), it is advisable to condition in the workshop for 24 hours before use to prevent condensation.
