Origin of raw material
Rice is one of the most plentiful, common and popular food sources on the earth. Rice is a staple food in many countries and U.N. estimates believe that Rice provides more than 22% of the calories consumed worldwide by people. Rice husk is a naturally hard material and serves as protection for grains of Rice during the Rice growing season. When Rice is harvested, the husks are removed from the grain to create brown rice, the brown rice is then milled further to remove the bran layer to become white rice. Rice Husks in the past were typically thrown away by rice farmers or sometimes stacked in to large hills and then burned in order to dispose of them.
Research&Development
The exclusive technology which is creating the green tableware is combining solid-state supra molecular science, green chemistry, condensed matter physics, science material, supercritical fluid technology and organic synthesis.
Our “Riceware ?” concept is developing and design through an innovation, creative, health and safety environmental concern products.This series got an inspired from “ Cobblestone” an oval-shaped design without an angular edge. Children can be ensured the safety when using it. BPA and petroleum polymer free, does not produce harmful substances when use in high temperature such as microwave oven and dishwasher. Comply with international standard for food contact SGS test report. Durable with normal use and able withstand temperature between -30`C to 120`C. Wonderful natural brown colour which means there are no added dyes, fillers, pigments, or chemicals that would jeopardize the safety of the products for kid. Made of natural rice husks fibre, biodegradation begins when it is exposed to an ideal of environment. Made from 100% all natural ingredients and it will not pollute and clog the environment when the time comes to dispose of the “Riceware ?’’
We believed that there was a better use for these rice husks and through research, development and innovation. We are proud and congratulated the rice husk kids tableware was born. The kids series is our first collection of products featuring the rice husks material. Look out for more eco friendly “Riceware ?’’ products in the near future.
