Pressure sensitive adhesive loaded with thermally conductive ceramic filler that do no require a heat cure cycle to form a bond.Product Description:
3M thermally conductive adhesive transfer tape is designed to provide a preferential heat-transfer path between heat-generating components and heat sinks or other cooling devices(e.g.fans, heat spreaders or heat pipes).
Features:
- This tape is tacky pressure sensitive adhesive loaded with thermally conductive ceramic filler that do not require a heat cure cycle to form an excellent bond to many substrates.Only pressure is needed to form a excellent bond and thermal interface.
- The specilized chemistry of tape 8805 renders them modestly soft and able to wet to many surfaces,allowing them to conform well to non-flat substrates,provide high adhesion and act as a good thermal interface
- The thermally conductive tape is provided on a silicone treated polyester liner for ease of handling and die cutting
- The tape offers both good thermal conductivity and good electrical insulation properties
Applications:
It bears excellent thermal conductivity which is used for the heat dissipation of radiator and PCB board. Western Hemisphere also has other types of thermal conductive tapes like 8810, 8815, 8820, 9890, 9885 etc with different thickness for customer's option.
