Thermocouple temperature tolerance:
1.Class I:
Temperature range:-40°C to 375°C,the tolerance is ±1.5°C;
Temperature range:375°C to 1000°C,the tolerance is± 0.004•|t|;
2.Class II:
Temperature range:-40°C to 333°C,the tolerance is ±2.5°C;
Temperature range:333°C to 1200°C,the tolerance is± 0.0075•|t|;
3.Class III:
Temperature range:-167°C to 40°C,the tolerance is ±2.5°C;
Temperature range:-200°C to -167°C,the tolerance is± 0.015•|t|;
Other details:
Sheathed thermocouple cable materials are extremely important for the manufacture of sheath thermocouple. They are firm assemblies which are being manufactured by a combined processing of the coupling wire or pure nickel wire or filigrees, organic mineral insulant, metal sleeve. Features:
Small external diameter, quick heat response, may be bent, long lifetime, fine air-tightness, wide thermometric scope, high voltage resistant, anti-vibration, narrow mounting pipeline, may be used under bending conditions.
Material AISI316L Properties:
Corrosion resistance: Additions of molybdenum make this steel superior to molybdenum-free types as regards increased corrosion resistance to certain acids such as acetic acid , phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid and other similar acids. Furthermore, this steel is more or less insensitive to pitting corrosion and withstand salt-water and aggresive industrial media.
Welding and mechanical properties: Suitable for all known welding techniques. Heat-treatment subsequent to welding is generally not necessary. In special circumstances when stresses from welding should be reduced to avoid stress-corrosion-cracking heat-treatment should be conducted. Highly ductile, only very sharp tools should be used for machine cutting, this steel can be polished.
Field of application: Due to its high level of resistance to corrosion and pitting corrosion this alloy is ideally suited to applications in the field of chemical instrument construction. Other fields are: nuclear power plants, reactor instrumentation, furnace cosntruction, sulphite, chemical pulp, textile, dye, fatty acid, photochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
