Commodity: palm shell briquettes purpose
Palm kernel shells (or PKS) are the shell fractions left after the nut has been removed after crushing in the Palm Oil mill. PKS(Palm kernel Shell) can produce more heat than other biofuel in the process of combustion.But the carbon emission is very low than other biofuel. Activated Carbon produced from palm kernel shell can be used as an adsorbent. Biomass energy which is another form of renewable energy source is derivable from PKS. Palm Kernel Shells share the same characteristics as its other sibling, coconut ... it the raw material of choice for the production of premium activated carbon.

Applications
