Introduction :
item name : Premium waterproof 260g rc glossy photo paper
RC( short for resin coated ) photo paper differ from conventional photographic papers becused its raw paper has been laminated on both sides with a layer of polyethylene before being caoted with the emulsion layer.
becuase it is coated with polyethylene layer ,RC photo paper also called PE papers in Europe ,(PE is short for polyethylene ). its whiteness is created by a titanium dioxide pigment in the upper polyethylene layer.
Resin coated photo paper ,sometimes ,also called Micro-porous paper or clearance paper due to its coating layer is made of Nanometer silica,which form small inorganic-organic hybrid fine particles . The particles makes the paper have a strong absorbency of liquid thus both dye and pigment inks are absorbed well in the Micro-porous and “sit “well on the emulsion layer .
Our resin coated photo papers differ in 4 finishs ,glossy ,luster( or called pearl,semi glossy),satin (or called silky), matte.
and weights range from 180g to 260g.
compare to other 3 finishes, glossy finishes is more widely used in satudio for wedding album since high glossness has good reflectivity of color thus usually gives images a vivid look .
heavy weights makes paper more hard and streight thus a paper with a heavy weight is usually a more durable option for photographers .Our 260g resin coated glossy photo paper is especilly well loved by proffessional photographers due to double sided pe coated it enjoys a refine Micro-porous layer ,has high density and touchs so smooth ,so even 260g but not too thick.

Introduction of 4 finihses of Our RC (Resin coated) photo paper
- Glossy finish – Has diifrent levels of gloss and can be measured and scored for glossiness. normally range from 70 to 102.
- Satin finish – also known as semi gloss, has lower glare and provide the benefit of non reflective surface.
- Luster/Pearl finish – a satin finish with a higher gloss and benefit of providing vibrant deep colors
- Matte finish -has a lower reflection/glare than the glossy paper. Has small particles,very grainy.
