ALA-PDT's all-purpose irradiator can be used as a stand alone treatment to address needs that are specific to each skin type and condition, to maximize the benefits of other treatments or to minimize side effects and complications associated with Botox injections, chemical or laser peels, IPL or laser hair removal treatments.
ALA-PDT has chosen two specific wavelengths to induce precise photo responses, delivering results that respond to today's most popular skin treatment.
625nm HPIC ESLD: results in promotion of a net increase in collagen formation, responsible for improved skin tone and texture, reduced appearance of pores, lines and wrinkles.
465nm HPIC ESLD: activates photodynamic reaction that targets the P. acne bacteria, and slow sebum production.
The Notable Effects of the Optical Power Density
The recent studies have shown that for the photodynamic therapy only when the optical power density is more than 40mw/cm², it can satisfy the threshold of the optical biochemical effects, to produce the biological modulation effects of the photon. The the optical power in per unit area is more great, the more photon energy is absorbed by the cells, thereby the biochemical effects of the photon are more notable. The ALA-PDT can irradiate effectively the skin which is on the distance of 10cm from the irradiation device. And the maximum optical power density is more than 40mw/cm², and it can promote significantly the optical biochemical effects of the cell, to improve the clinical treatment effects.
