The Zebra ZT200 Series closes the gap between Zebra desktop printers (such as the GX Series) and tabletop printers (such as the ZM and ZT400 family). The series is particularly designed for label production in warehouses, logistics and production. According to your requirements, choose between two models, the ZT220 and the even more powerful ZT230. During the models’ conceptualization, Zebra incorporated user feedback from the very beginning. The results are intuitive, easy-to-handle label printers with a robust design for pinpoint sharp results.
Use the direct thermal or thermal transfer printers in connection with another printer, thanks to ZPL support. Serial RS232 and USB ports are integrated, standard. Optionally expand the spectrum with an Ethernet 10/100 print server or 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, as well as a parallel interface – standard on-board, or manually from the outside. A particularly practical function: the label catch tray is at the exact same height as the Zebra S4M.
Both models are constructed robust and boast a compact footprint. The media cover on the ZT230 is also made of metal; on the ZT220 it is made of shock-resistant plastic. The double-folding cover has an opening radius of roughly 10 cm, whereby the entire printer’s size is compressed enough to require little location space. Changing the color ribbons and label rolls is easy – simply open the cover and replace – without any bothersome threading. The view window always gives you a quick look at the material status.
A high print quality for barcodes, words and graphics is guaranteed by the resolution of 8 dots/mm (203 dpi), optionally with 12 dots/mm (300 dpi). Plus, enjoy the proven Zebra quality when it comes to tools-free access and maintenance of the standard components, like the printhead and roller. To maintain or repair all other parts you only need three common tools.
The display on the ZT230 supports the printer’s intuitive handling, simplifies voice commands, as well as controls the printer properties. Additional LED displays provide the user with information about print status and maintenance needs. Even unschooled personnel can intuitively operate the printers of the ZT200 Series. The lighted and movable media sensor is also viewable through the inserted media, for optimal positioning. Colored markings on the inside further simplify its handling.
