DH100 Pen Style Hardness Tester is a unique and advanced palm size hardness testing instrument, which collects the characters of small size, lightweight, attractive appearance,easy-operation,integrated design,colorful & high resolution display,low operation temperature and high accuracy, etc. It can be performance in a narrow space, in which other hardness testers feel difficult to measure.It is applicable to big specimen on-site hardness testing and batch testing on the specimen in production lines. Moreover, it is also used in metal manufacturing industry, transportation, power station, petrochemical industry, aircraft industry,construction and lab,etc.
Working Principle:
When the impact body,with a certain weight,impacts against the specimen surface under the action of spring force,leeb hardness comes from the ratio of the impacting velocity(VA) and the rebounding velocity(VB) of the impact body by the moment the spherical testing tip is located at 1mm point from specimen surface.
With principle of electromagnetism,the permanent magnet in the coil of impact device produced an induced voltage, which is in proportion to the impact body velocity.
The leeb hardness values are calculated by the following formula:
HL=1000X(Vb/Va)

- Interchangeable between D type impact device (standard) and DL type impact device (optional), achieving one unit dual use,which is suitable to be used in the measurement in the restricted areas;(ONLY for DH110)
- Double coil design for impact device, without A/D conversion error, which enables to get the speed ratio directly with high repeatability;
- With battery compartment, battery can be replaced. Using standard AAA chargeable Lithium battery;
- High accuracy in any impact direction (360°), automatically identify impact direction and gravity compensation;
- Easy Operation, the four soft keys above the screen achieve the various functions;
- 6 Exchangeable hardness scales (HRB/HRC/HV/HB/HS/HL), measurable for the hardness strength σb;
