What is Bamboo Salt ?
Bamboo Salt was invented by a Korean herbalist, Insan.

How to make Bamboo Salt ?
Bamboo trunks which are at least 3 years old are filled with sea salt, then plugged by yellow soil at both ends. After that, these bamboo trunks are stacked inside a steel furnace and roasted along with pine tree firewood, pine resin, and pure yellow soil at high temperature. When the bamboo trunks burn into ash, the minerals of the bamboo and yellow soil are fused into the salt. The liquefied salt, at this phase, is eventually not only enriched with vital minerals and elements but also free from any contaminant that might be in sea salt .
What makes Bamboo salt distinct from regular salt?
In comparison with regular salt, bamboo salt contains lower contents of Mg, Al, B and P but higher contents of K, Ca, Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn, Li, Ba, Sr and Mo, most of which are known as the essential ‘trace’ elements, which are required to support human biochemical processes by serving structural and functional roles. Also, the pH levels of commercially processed salt are at or below 7.0 where the pH level of Bamboo Salt is up to 8.0, a significant decrease in acidity.
