Comptipix V3 is a special video-based people counter, with on board intelligence that counts the entrance and the exit of visitors. Comptipix V3 has an integrated memory that allows the storage of people counting data and its dispatching through FTP or HTTP server.
With an accuracy of more than 95% (checked by an independant agency to up to 98.12%), the sensor filters the objects such as bags, shopping trolleys, pushchairs, etc. Thanks to its HDR image the sensor manages better the light variations.
You can put up to 4 counting lines on the sensor to count different areas covered by the device. The counting lines could be set in different shapes (axis, curves) to avoid the door opening for example.
Comptipix V3 is made for applications such as malls, stores, museums, libraries, airports, railway stations, buses, etc.
The system must be fixed in the ceiling, over the entry. It counts people who pass under the sensor and cross the counting line.
