Application:
spiral classifiers are widely used in the distribution of ore in closed circuits with ball mills, grading ore
and fine slit in gravity mills, grading granularity and flow of metal ore-dressing, and desliming and
dehydrating in washing.
Introduction:
There are two type of spiral classifier. Single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier
According to the spiral blade at the flooding end, there are two types:
1. High weir type: the top side of spiral blade is higher than the flooding level and the Center of
the blade Is lower Than the flooding level. This type is used for classification of ore With flooding
size between 0.83-1.05mm.
2. Immersed weir type: the whole spiral blade is immersed in the flooding level at the flooding end.
This type is Used for classification of ore with flooding size between 0.15-0.07mm.
