Advantage:
1) Anti-Bacterial and kill bacilli: Scientists found that bamboo has a unique natural antibacterial agent in its fiber. Bacteria will
propagate rapidly in cotton and other fibers obtained from wood pulp, forming bad smell and even cause early degradation of the fiber in some cases. But it will be killed 75% after 24 hours later in bamboo fiber.
2) Best Moisture Absorption and Ventilation "Cool feeling in summer and warm in winter" capability: With the larruping cross section bamboo fiber have many favorable functions. There are many small openings or holes besprinkling on the cross section, with groove structure. Characteristics
• Softer than cotton, with a texture similar to a blend of cashmere and silk, making Bamboo bedding very luxurious to touch.
• Because the cross-section of the fibre is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, it has much better moisture absorption and ventilation. Moisture absorbency is twice than that of cotton with extraordinary soil release. This allows Bamboo bedding to regulate your body’s temperature, keeping you cool in Summer and warm in Winter.
• Natural antibacterial elements (bio-agent “bamboo kun”) in bamboo fibre keep bacteria away from bamboo fabrics.
• 100% bamboo yarns show a great elasticity i.e. nearly 20%. Even in 100% bamboo woven fabrics a remarkable elasticity can be obtained • Bamboo fabrics need less dyestuff than cotton or modal. It seems that the absorption of dyestuffs is remarkably better. Bamboo absorbs the dyestuffs faster and shows the colours better.
• Products of pure bamboo fibre are eco-friendly and bio-degradable. Bamboo Raw Material
• Growth – bamboo grows much faster than any other species of wood, and can be grown in steep areas where little else can thrive. The root system of bamboo facilitates quick regeneration once it is harvested, and due to its’ inherent durability, it can withstand tremendous hardship.
• Pesticide-free – bamboo typically does not need fertilization and/or the application of pesticides to spur its’ growth.
• Strength – bamboo is extremely strong due to its’ cellular structure and makeup. Bamboo, at its’ core, is made of thin, parallel filaments that extend the entire length of the bamboo stalk. Due to this parallel nature, the bamboo filaments have tremendous strength.
• Waste stream – bamboo as a material provides a completely closed loop system. Every part of the plant can be used, and is practical to do so.
