Procedure guide-line for refilling (HFC-227ea) cylinder
Purpose:
To guarantee high quality (HFC-227ea) for your process
Start condition:
-Full (HFC-227ea) cylinder on your refilling spot.
-For your process suitable (HFC-227ea) quality confirmed in the COA (certificate of analysis) provided by Waysmos.
Safety requirements:
See MSDS (material safety data sheet)
Facilities required:
-Weight-bridge (or other indication on amounts)
-Double skin flexible hose with outside wire –twisted reinforcement
-Pump (centrifugal or vane pump)
Procedure steps:
1. Check COA of this (HFC-227ea) cylinder.
2. Check gross-weight of (HFC-227ea) cylinder.
3. Check two identical valves with PZ27.8 in good condition.
4. Place cylinder of (HFC-227ea) gas on flat floor in a position with the face formed by the two valves perpendicular to the floor. The upper valve will be the gas phase valve and lower one liquid phase.
5. Prevent the cylinder from rolling by blocking to the sides with bricks or woods or other proper materials.
6. Connect the gas phase valve of the cylinder to the gas phase valve of the target cylinder with a double skin flexible hose, likewise, the liquid phase valve to the liquid phase valve with pipes connected to a pump suitable for liquefied gas.
7. Open all the valves and allow the pump refill the liquefied gas into the target cylinder.
8. When expected quantity gas refilled into the target cylinder, close liquid phase valves immediately at first and then the gas phase valves.
9. Turn off the pump and disconnect the hose.
End of procedure.
The above is recommended. But also you can consider methods as follow.
1. Use nitrogen to press MH227® agent into the receiver. Please pay attention that for expediently refilling you need moderately heat up the supply cylinder by steam or chill the receiver by ice.
2. Put the supply cylinder on the higher site and let the receiver vacuum, then connect two cylinders. The gravity will let MH227® agent into the receiver.
