In recent years, the health and safety concerns for free formaldehyde content in wooden products have become an important issue to consumers. Thus, CHC has developed two new adhesives UF resin(UF-9001). Urea-Formaldehyde Resin(UF-9001) is prepared by reacting urea and formaldehyde via the polycondensation mechanism. By means of advanced synthesis technique, thermosetting UF9001 resin is of extremely low free formaldehyde content.
Characteristics
- Urea-Formaldehyde Resin(UF-9001) with low formaldehyde emission is in accordance to current regulations for low free formaldehyde content.
- UF resins(UF-9001) show good storage stability for a long period.
- The wood products treated with Urea-Formaldehyde Resin(UF-9001) show good water resistance and excellent performance in peelingtests.
- Optimum hardening rate of our urea adhesives can be achieved by incorporating with CHC hardeners.
