High imino melamine resin is widely applied in coatings of coil, automotive, can, wood, and general metal.

Description

 

MM-825 is a highly methylated melamine resin with high imino (-NH) functionality. It is recommended for thermoset coating systems where the principal objective is to promote curing rate at lower temperature. MM-825 demonstrates high reactivity to coating resins which contain -OH, -COOH, or –CONH2 functional groups. With specially designed functionality, it can crosslink with formulate coatings rapidly at general curing temperature without catalyst addition or at low curing temperature under acid catalysis. The resultant coating films shows excellent moisture resistance and salt spray resistance.
