Commonly used for positioning components and securing assemblies.These pins have slightly rounded edges to aid insertion. Pins taper at a uniform rate of 1/4" per 12 inches. To install, drive pins into tapered holes (fortapered drill bits, see 8831A). Diameter tolerance at the larger pin end is -0.0007" to +0.0013". Meet ANSI/ASME B18.8.2.
