Blue litmus paper.
Blue litmus paper is mainly used for the detection of acid solution, acidic red paper
Properties: when the pH value is less than 5.4, litmus red more than 5.4, the test does not change color, so blue litmus paper to detect the acidic solution is not to be read acidic pH is worth reading;
Features: material encountered strong oxidizing, may fade, save attention when dry and dark;
Detection of acid gas, with the acidity and basicity of litmus paper blue gas detection, the first litmus paper with distilled water wetting, and the test paper hanging to contain gas or produce instrument for gas and gas contact after the test strip, color change, in order to determine the gas properties.
Save: the test paper is required to ensure existence of dark and dry place;

Step 1:
Open the box, showing a blue disk for blue litmus paper;
Step 2:
Take a piece of blue litmus paper, with fresh distilled water wetting;
Step 3:
Put wetted litmus paper blue stick in the glass rod, close to a storage device of the gas to be measured, strip color changes were observed, to determine the gas properties.
