Product Description

1. This IP68 12mm full color leds pixel light sm16716 festive string of addressable RGB LEDs can add color to indoor or outdoor displays.

Much like our addressable RGB digital LED strips, this 12mm RGB led pixel chain of lights is composed of 50 individually sealed 8mm diffused RGB LED and an internal 8-bit PWM LED driver ( 24-bit color for 16 million different shades) like ws2801 / DMX512 / SM16716/ LPD6803/ WS2811, etc. 

 

2. It has a microprocessor that control the RGB LED and provides various dynamic effects of different colors or luminance, that means they are digitally-controllable, you can set to any colors or animates. ( You need to buy a pixel led controller to run it). 

 

3. These 12mm full color leds pixel light sm16716 have a flat square back,  the RGB LED and IC driver chip is molded into a 'dot' of silicone, sealed, so they are weatherproof and rugged. With four flanges so they can be pushed into 12mm drill holes in thin sheet material  up to 1.5mm/0.06" thick


4. The pixels led are connected by a 4-pin cable. +5V , GND , DAT and CLK . 

In both ends there are  two JST SM 4-pin connectors that you can connect multiple 12mm full color leds pixel light sm16716 in a row.  as many as you wish, just watch for how much current they want. We recommend every 50 pcs/ strand should be powerd by power supplies.
