Features:
- USB to UART cable with +5V TTL level UART signals. 6 output wires terminated by a 6 way, 0.1", Single-In-Line (SIL) connector
- 6 way outputs provide Tx, Rx, RTS#, CTS#, VCC and GND. Data transfer rates from 300 baud to 3 Mbaud at TTL levels
- Connect directly to a microcontroller UART or I/O pins. +5V TTL output allows external logic to be powered from the USB port
- Replace MAX232 type level shifters allowing for direct connection of products to PC via USB
- Overmolded FT232R chipset provides single chip USB to asynchronous serial data transfer interface. Works with all Windows and Mac OS versions.
- FCC and CE compliant.

- Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP, Windows 98, Android, Linux, Windows ME.NET(4.2 or greater). Has to use third party data management software(Carelink) to work with Mac OS X, Mac OS 9, Mac OS 8

The FTDI cable is a USB to Serial (TTL level) converter which allows for a simple way to connect TTL interface devices to USB. The VCC pins of this FTDI cable are configured to operate at 5V with 3.3V I/O.
The FTDI cable is designed around an FT232RL, which is housed in a USB A connector. The other side of the cable is terminated with a 0.1" pitch, 6-pin connector with the following pinout: RTS, RX, TX, 5V, CTS, GND (RTS is the green cable and GND is black).
