Product Description

the ZNG-2 drilling fluid oil & water separate device is used to separate and determine the volume fraction of oil ,water ,and solids in a mud.The result is basic data in understanding solids concentration and component, viscosity of water-based drilling fluid, and filtration control. This apparatus features for simple structure and convenient operation. Easy to move and adjust the heating power, therefore, it is suitable for both lab and field application.

Working principle

Heating volume known of water-based drilling fluid samples, make its liquid phase evaporation, and then condensing and collect in the measuring cylinder, liquid volume can directly determine by the oil phase and water phase read values measuring in cylinde. The total solids volume (suspended and dissolved) is the difference (sample volume - liquid volume). Due to any of dissolved solids will stay within the distiller. So must be calculated to determine the suspended solid volume. Can also be calculated by relative size between low proportion of solid phase and the weighting materials.
