Too much protection never hurts, but this protection has to be somehow cost effective. Sometimes simple solutions can do great. Car alarm system doesn’t always help especially if someone got your keys with remote. The only hope is left to immobiliser, well if you have one.
This is a pretty simple immobilizer built on microcontroller and RFID chip. What it does is cuts motorcycle ignition with relay and turns on only when correct RFID key is read. So no one apart you will be able to start your motorcycle even if alarm is unblocked. Just be sure not to carry Authorized card along with keys.
This RFID Transponder Immobilizer LM 6001 is an entirely new type of motorcycle alarm system.Its 6-10cm detection range of Antenna means that it is impossible for the theft to disable your system by using code grabbing and scanning device.
Model LM6001 is a traditional motorcycle immobilizer but equipped with the latest Radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology which enble it becomes a more sophisticated car security product.The installation of antenna receiver is more flexible, it can be installed in almost everywhere in the motorcyle, hence it is difficult for the theif to find out even when they stole the key tag from you Only when rightful transponder bullet closes to antenna can disarm the system.
The function and installation of those components are below:
Relay:connecting to the ignition circuit of the motorcycle and serves as switch of the whole product.When rightful transponder bullet close to Antenna , it switch on the ignition circuit, otherwise, it cut off the circuit.
Antenna: can be placed everywhere you want in the motorcycle,serves as signal receiver.
Host:installed into dash board and serves as control unit.
Transponder key tags:serves as the key to disarm the immobiliser.
