The system is the GSM mobile phone monitoring and positioning system, which supports all GSM frequency band networks. It is a 100% passive system, only collecting information from the air interface (Um interface). Therefore, the system is impossible to be detected by targets and GSM network operators during the operation. As a passive system, the system adopts extremely powerful A5/1 and A5/2 Kc calculator. And more than 90% of collected information can be successfully cracked.

The system is able to monitor the specific targets and randomly monitor voice calls and SMS of different network operators and cells, and simultaneously collect subscribers’ information. For direction finding, it adopts the advanced 5-channel Parallel Phase-Comparison Technique, to accomplish one direction finding every 5µS.
