This transmission oil pan includes the aluminum oil pan, drain plug, drain plug gasket, 1/2” NPT to 1/8” NPT reducer, and 1/8” NPT Plug. The pickup extension kit is sold separately. The pickup extension kit includes a cast extension, 2 gaskets,

2. Remove & discard old oil transmission oil pan, pickup, filter, and hardware.

3. Thoroughly clean the filter mounting surface and oil pan mounting surface by removing any dirt, sludge & old gasket material. 4. Mount the oil filter extension (item #1). Place a filter gasket (item #2) between the extension and the filter mounting surface of the valve body. Fasten the extension using 1/4"-203/4" long socket head cap screws (item #3) and lock washers (item #4).

5. Mount a new oil filter (item #6 – not included) to the extension with a gasket (item #2) between the filter and the extension. Fasten the filter & gasket using the 1/4"-20 x 3/8” button head cap screws (item #5).

6. Install the oil pan using a new gasket.

7. Fill transmission to the proper level with the appropriate transmission fluid. Note that this transmission pan will hold about 2 additional quarts beyond the original transmission capacity to achieve the proper oil level.
