1.What are these products made from?

  All our menstrual cups are made from medical grade silicone.

2.Why are they so expensive?

  They actually save you $1000 of dollars, as you only have to buy them once, and reuse for years! - economical and ecologically friendly. One cup will last for years when used with carefully and properly.

3.Are they really safe to use?

  Yes, they are a healthier alternative to disposable pads and tampons, and are easy to use and comfortable, they should be emptied approx 2-4 times per day. But it is possible to use your cup continuously for up to 12 hours.

4.How clean is reusing a cup?

  They are easy to clean. The lining of the cup is totally smooth and the tab is flat. Your cup is easily cleaned by washing with a mild liquid soap or placing in boiling water for 5 minutes, or using disinfecting wipes.

5.Are coloured cups safe?

  Yes, our coloured menstrual cups are safe to use. The dye we use in our coloured cups is FDA approved for medical and food use. The colours don't contain any heavy metals (e.g. lead, chromium VI, cadmium, mercury) or phthalates. Our menstrual cups contain only small amounts of colour paste. The type of dye used in our menstrual cups are inside the silicone so it's not possible for the colour to leach like with some cheaper dyes which are also used in menstrual cups.

6.So are they really Hygienic & Safe? What about TSS?

  With tampons, fibres can be caught in the vaginal canal upon removal and its absorbency can dry out the mucous membrane. Pads create a stifling, moist environment that is a breeding ground for yeast infections, bacteria and odour. The cup is more sanitary because it does not disrupt the natural lubricating ability of the vagina or interfere with the natural process of shedding menstrual blood, dead cells and bacteria.
