ABS is a copolymer of Acrylontrile Butadiene Styrene, blended, to give unrivalled properties and benefits over traditional pipework materials such as copper or steel.
Acrylontrile imparts chemical resistance ensuring the pipework does not corrode or scale. The Butadiene content endows the material with impact strength and toughness, particularly at low temperatures, while the Styrene content contributes to lustre, hence the extremely smooth bores, and also ensures the strength of the material.
