Its an oven used in a continuous production process as opposed to a batch process.
The food can continuously deposited into trays that are moving along a conveyor belt into and through the oven. The oven is about 10m long. It takes about 25-30 minutes(you can adjust the time) before they come out the other side fully cooked. The oven is divided into segments, each with their own heating control. Some products require a high initial heat then a lower heat which is easily achievable in this type of oven.and also solve the problem brought by chain breaking when thermal expansion happen.
The main advantage for a tunnel oven is there is no down time between batches,and can save much time.
