Palm oil is popular now in world, Especially in Africa. It is the main cooking oil in Africa local place. And the market is big, the supplying is not enough. So it is very wise investment on palm oil refinery.The main process for palm oil refinery is similar to other kind of oils.
1.Deguming, means through water washing or centrifuge to get rid of the gum in the oil.
2.Dacidification: means through adding alkali to the oil, to neutralize the acid in the oil. In this section there would produce soap stock in the oil. And it could be collected to sell as materials to make soap.
3.Decolorizing: means by adding white clay which can absorb the pigment in the oil to make the oil look clearer.
4.Deodorizing: through heating and gassing the FFA and other smell maters would be taken out.
Palm oil after refinery is edible, but it easily get solidify. So if you want better quality oil, with better taste better looking, you will need fractionation machine.
Fractionation machine means by lowering the temperature, some palm oil would be solidify and separate the oil and fat; you would get palm olein and palm stearin.
