 Chair Position
This unique feature provides both psychological and physiological benefits to the patient. It is medically proven that the chair position aides in post-operative recovery, aiding diaphragm expansion during breathing.

Also, the ability of the patient to adjust between a bed and a virtual chair position has been well received both by caregivers and patients alike. The human dignity and independence factor associated with the ability to sit up either during meals, or when reading, etc, has been credited with helping the speeding up and recovery process.

Trendelenburg / Reverse Trendelenberg
The trendelenburg / reverse is instantaneously achieved with the aid of a dual independent motor system. Caregivers have the option to regulate this emergency position either gradually or completely via a "one button" control.

3 Vascular Positioning
Triple positioning of leg section: 14 degrees, 22 degrees and 35 degrees can be attained manually to promote venous return.

Headboard / Footboard
Access to the patient is further enhanced through easy removable lightweight ABS moulded head & foot boards. Apart from strength of material, it is aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean.

Patientgarde Mattress
Mattress foam with contact surface that contours according to the patient form allowing for even distribution of weight. Mattress cover that contains fire retardant, fluid resistant and antimicrobial properties. Zip under flaps for the prevention of liquid penetration through to the foam.

Embedded Patient Side-rail Controls

This lockable set of controls is conveniently located to allow patient self positioning.

Nurse Supervisor Controls*

This caregiver unit controls every individual bed movement. It is equipped with additional features such as the patient control lockout, instant "one button" trendelenburg positioning as well as a "bed in neutral" position.

* The control unit has been built with a safety feature whereby an activation button needs to be depressed simultaneously with any positioning controls. This is to avoid any unwanted accidental adjustments.

CPR Lever

Emergency override to return the backrest to flat position can be achieved quickly and instantly by pulling these levers located on both sides of the bed.

Central Locking / Steer Function

When activated, all four castors will not roll, swivel nor rotate, contributing to safety.

X-ray

The Radio translucent backrest is fitted with an x-ray tray.
