- Kanchipuram silk saree is well known all over India. The glamor of the Kanchipuram saree is color contrasts and traditional deigns edging pyramidal temple, checks, stripes and floral buttas. In a traditional Kanchipuram silk saree, the border, body and Pallav (pallu) are separately and then locked with seals offer the best durability in high saree woven.
- The border color and design are very different from the body. If the pallu (the hanging end of the saree) must be woven in a different color, it is first separated and then joined the saree woven hand gently where the body meets the pallu is often called zigzag line style.
