1. Introduction
Galvanized Hexagonal Wire Mesh Box For Bridge Protection
Hexagonal Wire Mesh Box/Gabion box is basket or mesh roll made of twisted hexagonal wire mesh in 80x100mm,hot-dip galvanizing or galfan(zinc 95%, aluminum 5%).
Hexagonal Wire Mesh Box/Gabion box is a rectangular box made of galvanized double twisted hexagonal woven mesh. The compartments or cells are of equal size and its dimensions are formed by internal diaphragms placed in the box. The compartments or cells are filled with natural stones and the diaphragms minimize the migration of stone, making it possible the distribution of the stones even after structural movement. The strength of gabion box comes from a double twisted hexagonal mesh reinforced by selvedge wire running along the edges and by transverse internal diaphragms at 1m center.
