Woven & Welded Gabion Basket For Sale
Woven & Welded Gabion baskets are rectangular cages made of hexagonal double-twisted wire mesh. They are filled with appropriately sized rock or quarry stone. The wire used is mild and tensile steel wire.
Woven & Welded Gabion baskets are sub-divided into cells by inserting diaphragms which are mesh panels with the same characteristics as the external sides, separating from each other every 1m to give the structure strength and lead to speedy construction.
Woven & Welded Gabion baskets, before being woven, can be coated with special PVC coating 0.5mm thick. This additional coating gives the structure full protection from corrosion in marine or heavily polluted environment.
Woven & Welded Gabion baskets are used in many situations including the stabilization of earth movement and erosion, river control, reservoirs, canal refurbishment, landscaping and retaining walls.
