1. Introduction of Rotary Kiln:
Rotary kiln is the main equipment of calcining the cement clinker. The characteristics of a rotary kiln are with simple structure, convenient and reliable control of the producing process,with little wearing parts and high running rate. It is the equipment calcining the high grad cement in the cement factory. The rotary kiln is widely used in the metallurgy,chemical industry,construction and other industries.
2. Application of Rotary kiln :
Rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, which can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials.
Cement kiln is used for making of cement clinker and there are dry and wet methods to make cement. metallurgy chemical kiln is used in metallurgy industry and ironworks for lean iron ore, chromium ore and ferronickel ore calcimine. Rotary kiln is used for calcimine of high aluminum vandal ochre in refractory material industry; for calcimine of calotte and aluminum hydroxide in aluminum manufacturer; for claiming of chrome sand ore and chrome powder ore in chemical plant
3.Structure of Rotary kiln :
It is formed by rotary body ,lifting blade , driving device, supporting device and sealing ring .
The rotary body is circled by steel plate , firebricks are inlaid inside the body , there is 3.5% slant angle between the rotary body and horizontal line, three tyre belts are supported on three supporting devices separately , and a big gear ring is installed in the middle of body, The body is drived by motor–speed reducer–little gear– big gear.
