Product Description

Synthetic single-crystal rough diamond are great for jewelry and industrial application. Chemical, physical and optical structure is identical to natural diamonds. The exceptional hardness of synthetic diamond has inherent advantages in mechanical and abrasive applications. However, it also has many other extreme properties, including:

  • A wide electronic band gap;
  • A very low coefficient of friction;
  • Chemically and biologically inert;
  • Excellent electric insulator properties;
  • The highest known thermal conductivity;
  • The broadest optical transmission spectrum;
  • The highest known resistance to thermal shock.

Can be used both for jewelry and industrial application.

Company Information

New Diamond Technology LLC designs, develops and produces rough single-crystal diamonds, thanks to research and state-of-the-art technology, embodying the dream of many scientists. Lab-grown diamond’s unique properties enable breakthrough changes in process and end-product performance that are applicable to a list of industries including jewelry, cutting, drilling, grinding, polishing, optics, semiconductors, and many others.

New Diamond Technology LLC main activities are:

• synthesis and processing of rough single-crystal diamonds;
• development of new technologies for the synthesis of jewelry and industrial grade diamonds;
• color alteration of rough and polished diamonds for the purpose of aesthetic and value improvements.

Autonomous growing process of greater number rough diamonds with high purity and different colors per unit time compared to standard technology makes our production more efficient and energy saving.

Production line of lab-grown single-crystals include:

• diamond anvils;
• diamond plates;
• rough diamonds;
• polished diamonds;
• personal order on the technical task.

Along with the production of raw materials, we maintain Cutting Department, which operates under the supervision of Israeli experts.

The most important key to the success we see in our people — true professionals from different cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Israel and other countries. They put their hearts and love in what they do. We believe that it is high qualification of professionals which allows us to develop the necessary equipment and implement new solutions for our respected customers.

FAQ

Q: What are "lab-grown diamonds" ?

A: Lab-grown diamonds diamonds are diamonds made by man, as opposed to natural diamonds, which are created by geological processes. They are also called "laboratory-created diamonds", "laboratory-grown diamonds", "cultured diamonds" or "cultivated diamonds".

Q: What is the difference between natural and lab-grown diamonds ?

A: Chemical, physical and optical properties of lab-grown diamonds are indentical to natural ones. The properties of lab-grown diamonds depend on the details of the manufacturing processes; however, some lab-grown diamonds have properties such as hardness, thermal conductivity and electron mobility that are superior to those of most naturally-formed diamonds.

Q: What is the application of lab-grown diamonds?

A:  Apart from an excellent alternative to use lab-grown diamonds in jewelry industry they are widely used in abrasives, in cutting and polishing tools and in heat sinks. Electronic applications of lab-grown diamond are being developed, including high-power switches at power stations, high-frequency field-effect transistors and light-emitting diodes. Lab-grown diamond detectors of ultraviolet (UV) light or high-energy particles are used at high-energy research facilities and are available commercially. Because of its unique combination of thermal and chemical stability, low thermal expansion and high optical transparency in a wide spectral range, lab-grown diamond is becoming the most popular material for optical windows in high-power CO2 lasers and gyrotrons.
