Higher security
IP alarm are supervised more frequently than traditional PSTN/GSM system. If the internet /power connection is lost, the cloud server knows almost immediately. The data transmitted is also authenticated and
can be encrypted to prevent intercept attacks and ensure unrivalled security. Because PSTN based
communications are not authenticated or encrypted, they are susceptible to being disabled by recording
and replaying signals, or substituting the alarm panel with a fake.
