1. PARTS LIST
Each shipping carton should include the following parts(Fig.1)
1. Solar panel 1 unit
2. Flood light with wire 1 unit
3. Wall mounting bracket with connector 1 unit
4. Pointed stake 1 unit
2. INSTALLATION
The solar panel box MUST be installed in a well lit location where it can receive maximum sunlight during daytime hours. Any cover that
shades the panel will affect its ability to absorb sunlight and decrease
the amount of brightness and duration of the LED lights. The lights
and solar panel box are for all weather use– they should not be affected
by exposure to rain, snow or temperature.
The solar flood light will activate automatically at sunset and deactivate automatically at dawn. Its location should NOT be near a light source such as a porch light, street lamp, etc., as these lights might prevent the flood light from automatically turning on. If possible, place the solar panel facing south to ensure the solar panel absorbs maximum sunlight.
The solar panel box can be positioned in the ground with the pointed stake. The stake should be pushed into the ground until it is firmly in place. If the ground is too hard, soak the area with water to soften it. Once the stake is in place, attach the electronic box by sliding the stake connector into the bracket on the bottom of the solar panel (Fig.2).
After the solar panel is positioned install the flood light at the desired place and then connect the water-proof connector(Fig.3). Finally screw out the fuse cover and insert provided fuse, then the light is in ON status. The installation is finished and the solar light can operate automatically.
NOTE: Charge the battery for at least 8 hours before first use.
3. BATTERY CARE
The Lithium battery of 3.7V, 2000mAh included with this product are rechargeable. Like all rechargeable batteries, however, they will eventually need to be replaced. If the light should begin to illuminate dimly or for shorter durations of time, you should replace the rechargeable batteries in the following way:
1. Unscrew 8 screws and remove bottom plate from the solar panel box.
2. Remove the old battery.
3. Replace battery with a new Lithium rechargeable batteries of same capacity.
4. Remount bottom.
IMPORTANT! When storing any solar product for an extended period of time, be sure to remove the batteries. Storing any solar product without regular recharge or removal could cause permanent damage to the rechargeable batteries.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF OLD BATTERIES – THEY SHOULD BE RECYCLED.
