This allows larger amount of joint filler to be applied, which in turn creates a stronger, better joint.
Apply to decorate the cutting border of sheet, especially the drywall board (the cement fiber pressure board) decorates the chamfering to help achieve smooth joints.

This excellent lightweight chamfer plane is just the job for making accurate, well fitting and stronger joints. The plane utilizes heavy duty utility knife blades which can be clamped in one of two positions to give either a 15° or 45° chamfer.
