The Respirator is made of Thermoplastic Elastomeric ( TPE) / Silicon. The respirator is durable & Hypo allergic in Nature
The weight is less than 410 gms.
The face piece must have a well balanced 4 point head suspension with easy
to adjust head straps which does not allow snagging of hair & a dual jointed
cradle suspension to ensure a snug fit on the user’s head. The head straps
along with the cradle suspension should be easily replaceable when damaged
or worn out
The full-face lens must be made up of Polycarbonate to ensure clear vision &
impact resistance when worn
The face piece must have two well-designed apertures fitted with one way
non-return valves, to ensure only inhalation through the cartridges
The face piece must have a well-designed aperture fitted with one way nonreturn
valve, to ensure only exhalation through the facepiece. The gaskets on
the Bayonet attachments shall be of orange color so that they can be seen
easily and that if not present, it can be easily identified visually too.
The Facepiece must have well designed apertures to facilitate easy click on
affixation of & removal of cartridges.
The Respirator & the Respirator/filter assemblies should be used up to NIOSH
approval limits, 50 times PEL for full facepiece respirator or the maximum
allowable concentration in applicable OSHA standards, whichever is lower
The respirator face piece should enjoy NIOSH &EN approval for negative
pressure air purifying and positive pressure dual airline applications.
The respirator facepiece shall also confirm to the standard prescribed by IS
8522:1977
